Webinar --- Improving LSS Project Sponsor Performance (more information)

Enrollment Closed

Event Details

Many LSS project sponsors receive no training and inadvertently cause frustration, delays, and even derailments of the teams they assign. This presentation shares some research on the common root causes of project sponsors’ poor performance and some strategies on how to get them properly engaged—without ever having to attend a class or admit that they didn’t understand their role. Additionally, this presentation will be available using GoToWebinar so that participants who can’t attend in person will be able to view the session through a web-based link.

Improving LSS Project Sponsor Performance

This presentation considers some of the common pitfalls that project sponsors experience when selecting LSS projects, assigning team members, and working with teams. Some of the potential root causes that drive the high incidence rate of project sponsors’ failures are described. Suggestions for how to improve project sponsors’ impacts on LSS teams will be shared.

If your organization wants to increase the improvements obtained for LSS projects and reduce the project cycle times through better project sponsor leadership, this research-based presentation will help you learn where to focus.
